What is Metacognitive Training for Psychosis?

Metacognitive Training (MCT) for Psychosis addresses metacognitive processes in psychosis through humorous exercises, in which individuals with psychosis can gain insight into unhelpful cognitive distortions (e.g., jumping to conclusions, overconfidence in decisions) and improve their metacognitive abilities (“thinking about thinking”). MCT is one of the cognitive health interventions delivered virtually as part of the iCogCA study.

We hope to see you there!
