Study Updates - April 2022

Here are the last updates for the iCogCA study:

1. E-Cog, our digital learning environment is underway!

E-Cog is the digital learning environment that will provide training for health professionals in the cognitive interventions that will be implemented in the iCogCA study (i.e. Cognitive Remediation and Metacognitive Training for psychosis).

2. We are working with different sites to finalize the assessment protocol for iCogCA

Once we have a final version, we’ll share it with everyone.


3. We’d like to introduce you to some team members working on the iCogCA study:

Christy Au-Yeung and Helen Thai, Ph.D. candidates in psychology and research trainees at Dr. Lepage’s lab

Both will be working on projects based on the iCogCA study. Christy is also a content creator for the E-Cog learning platform.


Caroline Dakoure, MSc in Computer Sciences, IT consultant for the iCogCA project

Caroline is building the digital learning environment of the E-Cog platform and assisting us in many other technological needs related to the iCogCA study. She is also a content creator for the E-Cog certifications.


Karyne Anselmo, MSc, iCog study coordinator

Karyne has been Dr. Lepage's lab manager for several years and the coordinator for the iCog study.


And myself, Ana Elisa Sousa, Ph.D., research associate at Dr. Lepage’s lab

I am the coordinator and main content creator for the E-Cog platform. I am currently working in the development of the two certification programs that will compose the E-Cog platform for the iCogCA study, along with a team of dozens of experts in cognitive health interventions, e-learning, and knowledge translation. I am also managing the iCogCA communications Hub!
